Welcome back to Recap Central. Today on this channel, we will be talking about Before "House Of The Dragon," HBO Spent $30 Million On A "Game Of Thrones" Prequel With Naomi Watts That Was Canceled! The first GOT spin-off would have starred Naomi Watts and S.J Clarkson as director.

However, after spending around $30 million already, the planned GOT spin-off series was cancelled. The supposed to be spinoff series would have focused thousands of years before the event of Game of Thrones. And would have featured the early ancestors of the Starks and the Lannisters. Unfortunately though, HBO decided to cancel it and just proceed to a nearer timeline and ordered to create a prequel series instead.
