11Spiral Knights is free-to-play 3D Action fantasy MMORPG set in the world of Cardle planet. It is developed by Three Rings Design and published by Sega. The game is currently in open beta (started on 4.4.2011 the ending date is not known yet).
Players play as a Spiral Knight, equipped with guns, bombs, armors and swords with different star ratings. The headquarters of the world is called Haven where players can socialise freely. From Haven players can enter to Clockworks, which are similar to dungeons in most MMORPG's, and fight through a number of circulated levels. The clockworks are arranged in tiers from 1 to 3 and require a complete set of armor of a certain star rating to access them. Almost everything in the game requires energy. Player's mist energy tank has a maximum of 100 energy which regenerates at 1 energy every 15 minutes. Alternatively players can purchase crystal energy in exchange for real money.
