Unlike in many other MMO's there are no classes in Loong Online, players are free to choose where to spend skillpoints in the Skill Trees(player can only put points in three of the trees -- two weapon trees and the Battle tree.) and what weapons to use in the battles
In Loong online progression is mostly quest driven and auto-navigation feature makes the traveling easy. Players can unlock several skills during the first few levels, and also get their first mount and pet.
There are seven different weapon types available, where players can choose from:
