He- Man and the Masters of the Universe Mini Comics!
64Here's a major blast from the past! Most of the stories in this book were included in little comic booklets that He-Man figures had included with them. This book covers just about every single one of those, throughout the brand's lifespan, plus a few of its spin-offs.
Some of these stories I remember, some are brand new to me.
It's neat seeing some famous artists get there start here (Bruce Timm of all people? I never would have guessed) and seeing established artists like Alfredo Alcala contribute.
(Alcala was a Filipino artist, not Spanish, although there were quite a few artists from both countries who contributed to the Warren magazines in major waves at different points in the companies' history- my mistake!)
It's also neat to see all the major eras of the Masters of the Universe covered here.... although I don't see anything from the movie figures. Did they have mini comics? I don't remember.
Now it's time to track down the giant toy encyclopedia!
