Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings, or just Age of Empires 2, is a true PC-classic RTS-game from the early 2000s. You start in the Dark Age during the medieval times of Europe and Asia, and play all the way through to the Imperial Age as you try to conquer your enemies. You pick a civilization to play as (Britons, Vikings, Goths or Teutons for example), who all have slightly different traits. Then you collect resources (Food, Wood, Stone and Gold) to build up your kingdom and army. There are several ways to win; Some ways include building your civilizations Wonder and protect it long enough or you could win by gathering all the Relics, bring them to your Monastery and then protect that for long enough. Or you can simply build up your army and try to defeat your enemies on the battlefield!
