The first time in months I've been able to really enjoy myself with Kamilia 2. Honestly, every Stage makes me gradually feel like I can't go another save, then every boss makes me feel like I can take on anything.

This boss has 2 phases two it and has an autosave in between. Phase 1 was really fun, I actually ended up getting really lucky too as that was my first attempt past Skeleton King, somehow ended up getting shot by the water through the gap in the blood splatter.

Phase 2, as I expected, the majority was spent dealing with the Solgryn Energy shield. That was always the hardest part of the original Solgryn for me as well. Also, jumping over Grolla strat is best strat, don't let anyone tell you different! ;)

The cherry bullet hell with Aoi Kiseki, that's a whole different animal. I actually found the first half of that to be harder than the second because I actually found the second part surprisingly not that bad, it gives you a lot of freedom to do what you want to do there whereas the first part has a lot more random luck involved.

The end phase. Let me tell you, it has been a while since I've reached a boss that could accumulate that amount of stress so quickly. Pretty much right from when you go into the end phase of Aoi to the death tunnel with Solgryn, my heart was pounding, and it took me 4 times through the death tunnel before I got it right. If I had decided to do that with the strategy of sitting further back in the tunnel, I never would have lasted long enough to finish him off with that cumulative stress just building by the gallons. I never really experienced that with Hatsune Miku from Love Trap because any time I started to feel stress there, I'd usually end up dieing a few seconds later and have to work up to getting comfortable with each section, so there never was a lot of stress until the last few seconds. So yeah, this goes down as the most stressful boss fight I've encountered thus far.

All in all, really liked this version of Solgryn, I have now beaten 3 of them, 2 of Influka's and the original! ^^

As for the rest of the game, I really never expected to get as far as I have this quickly, and consider it a longshot of me actually making it much further. Stage 6 is pretty much Love Trap difficulty and beyond, heck the Giant Kid's the feature boss of this stage so you know it's brutal. For now, think I'll take a bit of a break to get more into my other projects. I'm satisfied....for now. ;)

Oh, one more thing. Death Total: 14,693 (kid number 14, 694 the hero) Time Total: 34h 34min 34sec.
