Lunatic Difficulty in regards to the levels is a mix between ridiculous segments and some that actually aren't that bad (all of stage 2 for instance). But the main reason I even wanted to try it was for the bosses, which all have been given new tricks to make them extra difficult, but are actually still quite enjoyable!

The changes made to Lunatic Influka are mainly in her main phase. She throws a heck of a lot more of those purple energy shots in her first attack so you only have a chance of dodging them at the highest level, and they can be deceptive when trying to figure out where they're going. When she fires those rings of energy shots out, they're coming at you at a bit more than twice the rate of Normal Influka and once they stop you're given very little time to react to the, well, let's call it a death tower that comes out of the ground.

The changes to the intermission phase is that the two easy phases, The Guy & Co. and The Biolante/Kirby ones, will no longer show up. But the Solgryn and Sonic/Skadia ones remain unchanged and you can handle them for the most part.

The MissingNo/Ghost Combo has been given an upgrade though, it's the one you don't actually see here because I haven't actually made it past that one yet. The bullet hell is now with 100% more bullets, so fun times! ^^ Made it 2/3 through it but am currently at a road block as to where to weave through the bullets next (MissingNo's random firing rate sure doesn't help that either).

Anyway, I was actually surprised at how much I've improved at fighting this boss and how well I did learning the boss phases. On normal mode now, I actually have a great chance of beating her on any attempt because I don't die on the intermission phases much anymore. The only one that really gives trouble is the Sonic/Skadia one mainly because Skadia's throwing shots randomly and sometimes you end up getting a pattern that's really hard to dodge, espcially without running into Sonic. Solgryn was also the hardest to learn, the last of the original 5 I completed, but once you find your way through it, it's actually really not that bad to make it through consistently.

There's only really two things left I'd want to try with this boss, and that's beat the Lunatic MissingNo./Ghost Phase, and to do a normal battle where I survive all 5 different phases before killing her (I've gotten to 4 before, but there was at least 1 repeat in there, so only 3 different). Oh, and one more thing, but that's for some other day. ^^

Also, since I'm sure there's some of you like myself who are interested, the music from this boss fight is Sacred Secret ft. Megurine Luka. This particular version is the instrumental.
