While it would be easiest to simply de-cap the humans, extract their brain stems and use those as biological mainframes, this AI thinks that might be more likely to turn the humans directly against us. So instead we're choosing the more "ethical" strategy of convincing the humans to strap themselves into an immersive VR game and using their excess brain power via the Betaverse. Who knows, maybe we can extract power from them as a by-product?
