Heavy Rain (PS4) playthrough [Chapter 8: Where's Shaun?]
0This is a playthrough of the remastered version of Heavy Rain on PS4.
Much like Beyond: Two Souls, Heavy Rain is an interactive drama developed by Quantic Dream. The PS4 version maintains a more stable 30fps compared to the shaky framerate on the PS3 and updates some textures, but seems to occasionally have trouble playing prerendered cutscenes back, which is odd.
As for the game itself, I like Heavy Rain. I may have ended up preferring Beyond: Two Souls over the course of replaying that a couple of years ago, but Heavy Rain's story does more right on paper and from my experience discussing the games it seems to be the most popular of Quantic Dream's releases.
