Heiankyo Alien was originally released in 1979 on PC and predated the release of Pac-Man.

When this Gameboy port was released, it contained a port of the PC original and also included a modern version with updated visuals. Both modes are available to play with a partner via a link cable. The original version features co-op whereas the New version is head-to-head.
