Flying helicopters in mountains in challenging and in a winter it's even more fun ( I had flown this route several times in real helicopter and this time it was first time in the sim - and it's pretty close) - good unrestricted peripheral vision is great help (you can look out to keep eye on navigation and keep tabs on the instruments at the same time. It also accurately replicates some of the mountain flying illusions where peripheral vision feeds you a narrative that completely disagrees with the reality as well as the instruments (i have a motion cueing on that creates leans and other fun vestibular effects)
