12I love it. The Hellblade license moves me and makes me appreciate video games even more. In its sequel to Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice, Ninja Theory once again offers me strong emotions and the need to reflect and understand others. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is an action-adventure video game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios, following on from Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice released in 2017. It will be released on Windows and Xbox Series on May 21, 2024.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II benefited from a larger budget and team than its predecessor. Gameplay is similar, with combo-based combat and puzzles. Gameplay and graphics have been revamped: combat is faster and graphics improved thanks to a new Unreal Engine, while retaining the psychological horror and Senua's struggle against psychosis.
Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was released for Windows and Xbox Series X/S on May 21, 2024. The game received generally positive reviews, praising its art direction, graphics and sound design, although some noted pacing issues and a combat system favoring spectacle over depth.
