It's TV time!
Welcome to the first of our Patreon-funded TV comms! It's a real blast to be doing these again for you guys after so long. Not counting holiday specials, it's been a number of years since the last one so it's time to make up for lost time. If you want one of your own, feel free to pledge to our Patreon and help support the group, but remember - suggestions are free! There's no saying we can't do more tv comms without pledges, it just gets us off our arses quicker that way!
Today's episode commentary is on the third ep of Initial D: First Stage and was requested by Robert H. Thanks Rob!
Time for some DRIFTO ACTION ~
- - - SYNCING INSTRUCTIONS - - -
The method used for syncing our audio to the episode itself is pretty simple.
You hear us counting down, and that's your cue to get ready to hit play.
- After you hear me say "1", there will be a slight pause (or a beat), and that's when you should hit play on whatever you're using to play the episode. I've left in the audio where you can clearly hear me clicking play so it's easier to get an idea of what to do specifically.
Don't worry! It may seem tricky, but it's the easiest thing in the world once you're used to it.
WE RECOMMEND YOU USE MEDIA PLAYER CLASSIC TO PLAY THE EPISODE TO AVOID DESYNC!
Note:
Over the course of the episode the timer placed in the video itself (not the yt player timer) may become 1-6 seconds behind whatever you're using to play the episode. While we can't explain why this happens, it's not caused any desync issues thus far. So long as you sync correctly at the beginning, you'll be all good!
- - - HOW CAN I WATCH THE EPISODE YOU'RE WATCHING? - - -
That, unfortunately, we can't help you with. We tend to find stuff online to talk over so it's easier for everyone, but we don't wish to give out specifics here or post links. You'll have to look for those yourself.
However, we can help you along. Here's some info from our copy of the episode:
Runtime:
25:03
Resolution:
640x480
FPS:
30.00
