Hellish Quart - Marta combo's and moves
0Marta is a rapier-wielding fencer of the Destreza school who hails from the Kingdom of Spain.
Backstory
Marta was just a child when Samuel Zborovski killed her father. Taken in by the voivode Golski, she spent all her free time at the castle perfecting the art of fencing and dreaming of revenge. When Samuel reappeared in Ruthenia, Marta decided it was time for him to pay with his life for his crime.
Advantages
Point is always pointed toward opponent therefore the blade has to travel minimal distance to hit target when using point attacks
Her attack range is very high making it hard for the opponent to enter without getting hit when entering distance
Disadvantages
She moves in small steps, so she is a very slow character
Her slashing moves are hard to land and they deal little damage, but they are stronger than other rapier wielders (e.g. Marie)
When the fight gets into close range Marta's long range turns against her as it becomes a massive blind spot
Very close range attacks deal small damage
Blade beats can create an opening for your opponent.
Extra Notes
Learning Marta's perfect distance and maintaining it is key
Attacking as your opponent starts an attack will provide an opening since a point attack is faster than most slash attacks
Knowing when to change the line of attack will allow you to get past the opponent’s defence or take advantage of their attack angle
Her long guard will allow you to keep your opponent at a safe distance
Side step to set up a lunge at a good angle

Marta was originally planned to be called Mafra.
