HELLO OLD FRIEND | God Of War Playthrough - Part 19
4Hey everybody! Welcome back to my God Of War playthrough, Atreus is passed out with Freya and we are back home to get something to help us when we travel to Helheim. When we arrive several ice enemies wait outside but punching them down isn't too hard. Once we get inside Kratos opens the floor boards and pulls out something and opens it up. I cannot believe they brought back the chaos blades! Kratos does not look like he missed the blades but I cannot help but say hello old friend. With the blades of fire back on my wrists all the frost enemies do not stand a chance. We head right back to Tyr's temple to get to Helheim but when we arrive Brok asks where Atreus is and seems genuinely concerned and asks to help us. Kratos wants to go alone and presses on. Once we arrive in Helheim we are hit with the cold but it is nothing Kratos can't handle. The path is full of enemies I had just fought but it isn't hard to beat them again. We eventually reach the bridge and see the keeper that we need the heart from. At first he looks like any other troll but we quickly realize he is not when he teleports into combat! He is strong but my chaos blades and stronger and so is Kratos. With the heart in hand we have no time to lose but before we go a familiar face appears in the background. It is Zeus and I am as confused as Kratos is. Mimir says it is just a vision and nothing more and for now we have to believe him. With the ability to control the winds of Hel we make our way back to the warp room and quickly head back to Midgard. Once we arrive Brok tells us that the travel doors now work both ways not just one which means we can fast travel back to Freya. With the heart she is able to bring Atreus back but pleas with Kratos to tell him his true nature. Before Kratos can make a decision Atreus wakes up. Kratos actually thanks Freya which is insane since this is Kratos we are talking about. With the boy back up and running we are ready to head out into the world again but Atreus seems off. I guess we will just have to see what happens from here!
