This is a tough, well made 2.2-2.5 mm (13-14 gauge) thick bascinet with 1.6 mm (16 gauge) visor. It's quite heavy and impervious to swords. The single-handed axe can dent it but it's basically just cosmetic damage. Even the hammer spike can't penetrate it.
