Over the course of 12 months, students will learn how to safely and effectively utilize the healing power of plants for their own well-being and for the care of family and friends. Our Vitalist approach orients students to a greater cosmological view of the body and the world through the teaching of plant and body energetics, defining ancient systems of knowledge, integrating modern scientific literature and clinical experience, and emphasizing self-experience and self-reflection. Through the vitalist path, students will learn the skills of plant perception, medicine making, human physiology, and custom formulating and will build a grounded repertoire of plants to support them in their work in herbal medicine.
