Fun level for a penultimater. Had I considered the extra Tomes I could find in this level, it could have been more chaotic. Maybe next time.
This one really isn't bad. I'm pretty sure the highest amount of damage I took came from shooting a wall with the Phoenix Rod. While you might have to get lucky avoiding some shots near the beginning, those rooms also provide you enough cover, that is, if you're willing to rip the enemies out from behind it. Take your time with the Maulataurs; there's 2 on this difficulty. Jumping is certainly helpful for that, otherwise, you can either use an Invincibility Ring there or lure them out into a more suitable area after lowering the wall.
The Chasm section is fun. Clear out 1 of the little alcoves then you're free to safely clear out the rest after acquiring the Wings of Wrath. As a reminder, I use Q for Fly Down, R for Fly Up, and T for Drop Down. The Liches at the end are a joke with the Invincibility Ring. But you can also get away with sniping them through the windows. Really, this level more daunting than it is difficult to overcome. Makes Corvus so dreamy as a protagonist.
