Heroes of the Storm-Alexstrasza gameplay and build talks
0Alexstrasza the Life Binder has now joined other Warcraft heroes in the Nexus. She was announced during Blizzcon along side semi-dragon oriented Hanzo from Overwatch. She comes to us as a selfless support/healer with a decent amount of DPS. Does she live up to the dragon fantasy?
The first thing you will notice is that she has the ability to turn into a dragon and no, it's not her ultimate. It's a standard ability but has a long cooldown. Unlike DVA in her suit, if you die as a dragon you outright die. Blizzard has discussed they needed to watch her scale so that she didn't take up 1/2 the screen. She punches herself to heal people, drops a heal circle on the ground that takes about 2 seconds to form and also breathes fire similar to Chromie's sand blast shot. It has great range and goes through minions. I find she is solid but a bit more fun to play as a DPS than a healer. I don't truly believe she can handle being solo support without the aid of something else. IMO-I enjoy her more as a support turned DPS kind of like Tyrande. I've had games as a solo healer on Alex and done well but I keep not feeling satisfied. When I played her as DPS, I had a much better match and WAY more enjoyment from it.
