He's Just ALL GUNS - Let's Play Mighty Number 9 Ep 5
In this episode of Let's Play Mighty Number 9, Owen Quillion falls in love with Batallion, and then tragically murders him.
The goal of this Let's Play is to get some first hand experience with Mighty Number 9's gameplay. Like another game much nearer to my heart, Yooka Laylee, this spiritual sequel to Megaman was considered to be a terrible dud and another kickstarter failure. Thus far my analysis of Mighty Number 9 is that while it's not a truly great game, it has fun levels and passable bosses, making it a perfectly adequate game, if not a classic.
Mighty Number 9 is a spiritual successor to the vaunted Megaman games, conceived by Keiji Inafune, one of the original designers, and developed by his company Comcept.along with Inti Creates. It was released in July of 2016 to critical panning. Mighty Number 9's twist on the usual Megaman formula is the need to dash into enemies he has weakened to absorb them and achieve a combo, which grants pickups. This leads to interesting, quick levels and somewhat frustrating, backwards designed bosses.
