Hex Patch SNES ROM (Inf HP) Instead Of "7E" PAR Cheat Code in Emulator
So the dilemma we have is that many PAR (Pro Action Replay) aka "standard" cheat codes begin with 7E or 7F, which means that you will not find that offset because it's outside the rom's range. So in order to permanently hex patch the rom (so that you no longer need to use a cheat code in the emulator), you will need to use the hex offset of a Game Genie cheat code. But what if you can't find a Game Genie cheat code for your game? In this tutorial I show you how to both create a Game Genie cheat code and find its hex offset, which is almost always in the rom's range and can be used to permanently hex patch the rom.
