In part 5, I finally defeated the Yakman boss. I used the Tempest Staff with a Tome of Power, which made the staff fire a steady stream of electricity. After that, I took a portal to the land of Tibet. This is the all new area, with Tibetan buildings and snowy outside areas. I continue to fight a lot of the usual monsters seen up to now, especially archers and blue imps. The Yakman monsters return as non-bosses. They have the same behavior and attacks, but their health is cut to a fraction of the boss version. While some Yakman are brown, others have a snow colored fur, as shown in the thumbnail.

This playthrough is done using the source port, Hammer of Thyrion. This is continued from the original Hexen 2 playthrough. I change class to Demoness, just to try something different. Difficulty is still at max, and I continue the stream number and death count from the original run. Portal of Praevus is the one and only official expansion pack for Hexen 2. It includes a new class, several new monsters, and a new set of maps, leading to a new final boss.
