In part 8, I finally figured out how to solve the way of wheels puzzle. I found the order that the buttons needed to be pressed, and I found what symbol corresponded to which name. After solving the puzzle I was soon confronted with a new enemy, the Snow Tiger. These are very similar to Werejaguars from the base game. Their movement is a little different, but they are very fast and agile.

This playthrough is done using the source port, Hammer of Thyrion. This is continued from the original Hexen 2 playthrough. I change class to Demoness, just to try something different. Difficulty is still at max, and I continue the stream number and death count from the original run. Portal of Praevus is the one and only official expansion pack for Hexen 2. It includes a new class, several new monsters, and a new set of maps, leading to a new final boss.
