Hidden Blocks Everywhere! (GameFAQs Levels #36) - Super Mario Maker 2
This video explores a wide variety of levels that I discovered on Super Mario Maker 2’s level-sharing board from the website GameFAQs. Let’s see what fun my fellow players have come up with!

Fireflies Night (0:00)
J6S-L6X-NVF
- I enjoyed this traditional-ish level with the low-gravity twist.
- It was fun to speedrun too!
Ludwig’s Air Castle (0:52)
QWH-PL4-0QF
- The atmosphere, making things look like a castle to ascend and such, was neat.
- The boss fight was a little basic with nothing but a few platforms, but it got the job done.
Midnight Metropolitan Mario (2:07)
C61-0HD-HGF
- I enjoyed the aesthetics of this level. You definitely created the village vibe.
- The individual rooms provided some interesting challenges too.
Where is It? (6:38)
SL0-LF0-61H
- I found a dev exit that allowed you to skip the vast majority of the level. Is that how you beat it? If so, then keep it mind that, if you don’t want to beat your own level legitimately, why would anyone else want to? I normally boo levels with dev exits since they aren’t fair, but I went easy on you since you’re a new creator. Make levels you want to actually play, and then people will be more likely to actually want to play them too.
Mario’s Great Ghost Hunt (14:01)
LK5-2BQ-JLG
- I was proud of myself for solving that clever pipe puzzle!
- I was a little disappointed that the final trick was just finding a random hidden block with a star in it, though.
Thriller: the movie (22:33)
WG3-KR4-RTG
- I liked the spooky atmosphere as well as the platforming challenges!
- Given how long the level was, though, I would have appreciated a checkpoint or two. I usually don’t make players go more than two minutes without a checkpoint in my levels, but that’s just my preference.
Heavy Metal Thunder (27:50)
JXT-PXF-RFG
- I enjoyed the tight platforming this offered. It was great use of the Mechakoopas!
- It was also fun to gather everything for the true ending. Great stuff!
