hidden superboss in GBA Chain of Memories found after almost 2 decades??????
i was playing chain of memories GBA and was fighting ansem as riku, managed to beat him while breaking all of his sleights, but instead of seeing riku's ending i was thrown into another battle against xemnas??
it was only the dragoon and armored portions (maybe final xemnas too?) of the fight, but i guess i'm the first to discover this as i havent found anything about this being in the game???? wild to think im the first to find it, they even gave it it's own dedicated FMV (even though it seems to be just the same scene from KH2) i wanted to get more footage but OBS crashed around 30 seconds in and i lost the fight bc i forgot to pause while opening OBS again, and i very much do not want to fight ansem again with those stipulations. one thing i noticed before though was that the game played considerably more like KH1? you had a command menu and no more cards, and had most of the spells from kh1 and even reflect from kh2 already unlocked. a true mystery
(no this is not real obv, testing animating cutscenes in the CoM style, both in FMV and in-game form, i unlisted the armored xemnas theme i used in here (bc its updated here and i'm planning on uploading it alongside dragoon and final xemnas) but if you wanna listen to the (slightly) older version: https://youtu.be/l5xMkOtzf6M (major shoutouts to noclip.website btw go check them out))
