Hideous Destructor | Urban Side | No Failure Runs | Part 1
Haven't run the Faversholm set in a while, figured I'd take a gander at some urban themed mapsets and see what clicks with HDest. Plus, I don't think I've used the ol' Doc Purnell playerskin yet. Used a different loadout compared to the usual, a revolver with ammo and NVG. Wasn't until all the recording was done that I realized that I forgot the radsuit, but that's not really necessary in this run.
Urban Side seems like it'd be an easy going city themed mapset at first, to the point where I had to include the second map's run as well. However, the second map is where it shows part of its hand in how it'll treat me for the rest of the pack. Hectic fights with lots of enemies that'll test one's chill underfire. It'll only get trickier from here, so do note if you want to run this setup as well.
The use of the Faversholm set also prompted me to look for enemy sprite packs that might fit the theme. Didn't really found any, surprisingly enough. Ended up having to strip parts from Project Malice, quickly cobbling up a reskin set for the enemies based on the sprites I particularly like. There's the question on why I didn't just use the enemy mod wholesale, it's pretty much 'cause HDest's mechanics easily melt PM's monsters like butter. Not exactly an interesting NFR to watch.
