Despite its long development, Gran Turismo 5 was full of leftover tracks from the PlayStation 2 games that were "mostly" fully drivable (with a few exceptions), however they were left in an unfinished state that meant they wouldn't have met up in quality with the other tracks that would eventually become playable. As a result, these tracks would sit in the game's files, going completely unused.

Thankfully however, in large part due to emulation and a growing modding scene for the PS3, these tracks are now finally drivable! We'll be running through every track that's available, thanks to the Gran Turismo 5 Master Mod for making this all possible.

High Speed Ring was re-made for the PlayStation 3 games, going as far back as Prologue. As a result, this older PS2 rendition didn't have much use remaining in the game. Despite this, its files still sit here. The track appears to be mostly fine, with only minor graphical issues. However, a vast majority of the original 'sponsor' billboards are now gone, resulting in a lot of empty posts/stands. As you'll notice with all cut tracks however, there's no "living" beings. No crowd noise, crowds are motionless, shadows don't work properly, etc.
