Our let's play 5089 gameplay series continues with episode 3, in which we explain just how the difficulty and levelling system works in 5089 to ensure smooth progress into harder areas of the map without letting you get overpowered.
We check out hoverboards, decoy guns, grappling hooks, telelocator guns and the new gravity well guns, all bought from the utility terminals.
Having gained conversion points in our previous let's play 5089 episode, we also see how 5089 unlocks all terminals in the next difficulty level up - so the more towers you destroy, the most terminals that unlock.
We see how to get higher level weapons by using newly powered terminals in 5089, and by killing enemies in higher level areas. We also discuss how 5089 crates drop loot - with no overpowered stuff - and see how quests get more rewarding in dangerous areas.
We also kill a lot of robots, of course!
