3The marshes were filled with traps, the mountains with warriors of skill, the beaches layered in archers, the Strongholds sending forth their armies and Hjalmer saw from the highest perch that the samurai armies now hunted him and their leader was the Orochi, a warrior of immense skill that was as swift as Hjalmer was relentless, as cunning as he was strong, the Orochi he had fought at the fortress when he was still with Ellia, now was for part 2 of Hjalmers plan, to move to Valkenheim and gain the attention of the Viking armies, he moved with as much haste as his old body would let him and he quickly moved to a stolen ship, the samurai army would follow after finding out their ship was stolen, he made sure remote villages saw him as he made his way to Valkenheim....days....weeks passed along the rough journey but he landed on Viking soil, arrows and spears rained down from the defenses, unlike the samurai every viking was a warrior, no civilians resided here, meaning he would give them time to evacuate what children there were, dusk fell and the fires of war were ablaze he charged the Village, And came to clash, moving town to town, bodies piling up and smoke thickening, he would make his plan succeed, he would become immortal in history.
At the end of the most recent town he came to a stalemate with raider, the clash lasted for hours and Hjalmer gained an advantage but by luck the raider was dragged from the fight by a valkyrie and Hjalmer was pushed back by burning debris, another leader he would face when the time came.
He attacked and plundered the Vikings, coming to be known as the mortal body of surtr, bringer of death and fire. He was labored with fatigue but he forced himself to go on, his body growing slowly in strength in an attempt to match his will.
