Hello hi this is part 2 sorry its taken a while
I had 20 minutes spare yesterday so I rushed to record this and 2 more guides so sorry if it sounds a bit fast it was done in one take haha
Written version below:

-------------------

The only two knives I consider viable are the stock and the spy-cicle. The Kunai and YER are fun to use in lobbies, but unless you're rolling the enemy team I would steer clear of them. Since the big earner has been terrible for so long, even though it was buffed, I never find myself using it, so I don't really have much of an opinion on it. I would say that the speed boost is fun and probably sometimes comes in handy when the enemy comms are full of clutter so you don't get immidiately focused; but the number of times i've survived on under 25 hp make me never really want to run it. If you are curious, i'd reccomend trying to run it for a scrim or two to get an idea of it. Honestly though,
remember that the choice of whether you run the stock or the spy-cicle.

I like new spycicle a LOT with the new Dead ringer because they both recharge at about the same rate with ammo pickups so it feels like a gimmie to run both. Two steps of saftey from pyros is always welcome in my opinion
I like running it normally with the invis watch too as a safety measure in case a pyro accidentally shoots a stray particle kind of near you, which you know, causes you to die and have to spend another minute getting into position again. The stock is, to be honest, is really balanced and pretty much always viable;
If you don't ever have problems being lit on fire IT should be your go-to. I like the spy-cicle for being able to remove the recoil that afterburn gives you, but it's still a trade off. It's not often that the "oh the pyro hit me with one particle so I missed the stab" actually happens, unless you're playing on a koth map or against a pyro who literally only spychecks. If you come across one of those you might want to just run the dead ringer to pull the pyro away, letting your soldier or whatever bomb for free, because those kinds of pyros seem to like to focus 125 health spies over a 200 health airborne class with several 100 splash damage rockets. iunno. You can tell if you are playing against a good pyro if they don't chase you in most situations and either send a scout after you or just wait for you to come back for another try anyway.
So to summarise, stock and spycicle are both equally good with all watches in all situations, unless you NEED that one pick, in which case I would reccomend running stock and suiciding for the pick. The spycicle lets you survive more and live longer, but if you NEED that pick your survivability is not your top concern.
If you're running dead ringer I would always reccomend the spycicle though, as mentioned before it recharges on ammo now at the sameish rate as the dead ringer, so it seems reasonable to pair them together.
So yes, overall, the choice is between the stock and the spycicle, and it's mostly based on personal preference. I would reccomend trying to play with both for an extended period of time to get a feel for both of their weaknesses and strengths before worrying too much. If you are in doubt about what to run, just use the stock, if only because it has pretty reskins.

tldr knife vs spycicle
spycicle good to remove afterburn and the screen shake it causes
knife good to get one specific stab
other than that both pretty much the same just run whatever you prefer
