Finally did 1 loop clear of this amazing game! This was a surprise favorite for me, simple yet very addicting shooter. I like how 1 loop is only 5 stages, and every stage is very well designed and action packed.
This was a long battle for me. Had to grind an obscene amount of hours of practice for this game. In that journey, was able to get some tips and tricks in the game. The biggest secret tech in the game I learned from the discord is the Green Plane trick, wherein you the green planes stop shooting as long as you position your ship in the middle height of the screen. This allows you to relax or go on auto pilot of sorts. I used it in Stage 3 , Stage 4, and the final part in Stage 5. That trick made allowed me to get the clear, it allows for less mistakes if you do that.
The game is tight, one wrong move and you will die. But that said, it is very balanced and the difficulty is just right. This game has great check point recovery. The is the first game I actually enjoy having checkpoints.
Getting the 1 loop clear was very satisfying and rewarding. Absolute must play for an STG fan and this has become my favorite vertical shmup. Shnmup of the year for me even if this game was made in 1987 :) Great job M2 for giving this the M2STG treatment.
