G-Darius HD (Switch)

This is my first 1cc for G-Darius. Was so happy I pulled it off. It was difficult for me , but thru practice using the game's training mode and watching top replays, I learned the game and eventually pulled it off. Total play time since getting the game early 2021 is 55 hours! lol. Felt great when the hard work paid off haha.

Tons of mistakes in this run, failed capture balls, or some careless mistakes. So much room for improvement and I am looking forward to getting better.

Things I learned in my 1cc journey:
1. Taking advantage of the capture ball mechanic is what will make things more fun and increase your chances of survival!
2. Using an enemy capture increases your firepower, you can use them as shields if you position them correctly , its piloting a different ship or shot type.
3. Use enemy captures either as a bomb, but more useful as Alpha beam.
4. Captains are the best. Capture them and they can become mobile "safe spots" if you want to focus on survival! They helped me survive the 3rd stage and the final stage by hiding behind it and letting it tank all the damage. Was fun learning how steer the captains and the minor captures as well.
5. The enemy ship "Rei BENSER PLUS" is key to making the final boss fight with Lighting Coronatus much easier. Make sure to capture it at near the end of the stage before the final boss fight. It comes after the last two large sharks. Its easy to miss them so I I really took advantage of practice mode /save states to train for it.
6. Speaking of practice mode, The game is practically M2STG release. It has great practice mode, and great auto save feature, super convenient for learning the game and getting better. It was instrumental for me to improve my game.

The art style of this game, the gameplay ( the capture mechanic really makes this unique) and the MUSIC are why I got enraptured by this game. Its definitely my favorite Darius game / shmup right now and I urge more people to try this game.
