The first Carmageddon game was firstly released for PC and MAC in 1997 and then for other platforms as well. Since it was a good vehicular combat video game of the time, it managed to draw attention. ‘’CarmageddonII: Carpocalypse Now’’ was released for PC and MAC in 1998 and that publish sort of took the market by storm. At the time, the series was developing a community of players of its own but it didn’t last long. After the 2nd game, the series started to ramp down. There were some releases for platforms like PlayStation, Nintendo64, and Gameboy Color but the effort was just not enough. Even though the recent games like Carmageddon: Max Damage which showed up in 2016, the series never got to satisfy the players as it did before.
