In this video we look at the history of the arena in Fire Emblem games. Arenas were first introduced in FE1 and have made appearances throughout most of the series. Traditional arenas are usually a tile on the map were you can send one of your units and make a bet that they will win in a fight. Winning the arena battle will reward you with gold and experience, however if your unit dies they die for good. The most recent games have arenas where you can still get gold, experience, items, and other rewards, but without putting your units lives at stake.
