Hitler Ransomware Will Delete User Data in 1 Hour
This Hitler Ransomware was discovered by AVG malware analyst Jakub Kroustek, its been said that its a ransomware in development, as your see in the video, it claims to encrypt your data, but it does not, does this mean its a prank or trying to fool you into thinking your data is encrypted? who knows what there plain is for this malicious malware. I know if you don't remove the Hitler ransom or pay there demands, it will delete your data, it does this by deleting the %UserProfile% folder for that account, which will delete all your files like, Documents, Pictures, Videos, Downloads, Music, Contacts, Links, and Desktop folders. removing this is easy, but make sure you act on it before the 1 hour mark or you run the risk of losing your data, it probably possible you can recover this via data recovery software.
To remove this ransomware it will extract three files into the %Temp% folder as shown in this video. They are named chrst.exe, ErOne.vbs, and firefox32.exe. The malware will also copy another file called firefox32.exe into the Common Startup folder. If you manually want to remove these, just delete them, if you have trouble in deleting these files, just rename them chrst.vir, ErOne.vir, firefox32.vir then just restart and delete files.
Run Malwarebytes after to make sure there is no remnants or malware left behind. if you want to make double sure, you can run some other programs like HitmanPro, ESET Online Scanner.
