RANT:
Something I've learned while hanging around fighting game fanbases is that people who sneer at the thought of their main getting nerfed probably aren't all that good at the game to begin with.
"You just want to make the game easier for yourself". Someone said this to me before. I want to make the game fun and fair. Winning is irrelevant if playing the game makes you miserable. Is that so hard to understand? I'll answer for you. It isn't. You choose not to understand because you're evil and would rather be a quarrelsome heckler than a helpful person.
"Before, you were tolerable. Ever since this mod, you've become annoying".
Maybe I should take everything you enjoy away from you so you can be bored like me every day with nothing to do because so few people know how to make good competitive video games. Then maybe you'll understand why I push the mod with persistence.
I won't tell you who said this to me, but it was a "top player". If this person actually cared about anyone other than himself/herself, they would set aside 2 minutes to download the mod and just play. But no, this person is conceited, selfish, and biased. Even though this was said to me over a month ago, it comes to mind every now and then.
Humans are actually trash. I literally do not belong here with you people.
I'm not even in a bad mood right now. But what this person said to me just makes me angry.
Shut up about "good vibes" and "bad vibes" How about being a good person?

Affected Characters
Helena, Leifang, Diego, Rig, Ayane, Mila, Lisa, Mai, Kokoro, Tamaki, Kasumi, Marie Rose, Rachel, Phase 4, Ryu Hayabusa, Christie, Honoka, Hitomi, Nyotengu, & Eliot

1. The Sidestep Attack damage and effects vary by character (nerfed in general). Slow characters will cause a negative guard break. All Side Attacks will be UNABLE to wall splat.

1. Very few strikes cause a wall splat (dash attacks, slow strikes, certain launchers, etc)

12. Quick Strikes will not deep stun on either ch or critical stun. Strikes within a move string may cause light “Flinch-Stun” like DOADimensions and DOA4. The first strike of a move string can still be used to extend stuns as usual (except for jabs).

13. Many combo enders will now put the opponent into a backward knockdown state to make it easier to force them off of the ground if they try to stall (work-in-progress).

Hitomi
-KP still -11 on block for now. Difficult to change this.
-Removed Wall-Hit: 8PPP, 5KK, SSA, 66K, 66KK, 5K2K, 6H+K, 7KKK, 7KK4K, 5H+K, 66PK, 236P, 46P, 46K, 6P+K, 5KP, and 3K.
-Flinch-Stun Nerf (counter hit): 4P, 6P, 3K, 6K, & SSA.
-Flinch-Stun Nerf (Critical Stun): 4PP, 5P, & 5PP.
-33T (wall) throw damage reduced by 19.
-Sidestep Attack damage reduced to 5 and causes a +1 flinch-stun.
-8P+K ground pound damage reduced from 50 to 30.
-Backward knockdown during juggle: 66PK.

Nyotengu
-Sidestep attack guard break reduced from +11 to -3.
-Removed Wall-Hit: 5K, PP6P, PP4P, 6K, Fly cancel H+K, 46P, 66P, and 4H+K (uncharged).
-66T (wall) offensive hold damage reduced to 10-10.
-66T (wall) Follow-Up Strike damage increased from 10 to 20.
-Backward knockdown during juggle: 46P+K, 6PPP.
-Launching throw damage reduced from 30 to 16.

Helena
-Launching throw from stance removed from the game until it can be adequately nerfed.
-214T, Back-turned throw, 66T, 4T, 6T, and 6T against wall damage reduced.
-Neutral throw damage increased.
-Jumping ground pound damage increased from 18 to 35.
-Side Attack damage reduced, knocks opponent on their back, and doesn’t wall splat.
-S and SS in the fatal rush string do not fatal stun on counter hit or in crit stun.
-Back-turned 8P causes a guard break and bounces opponents in critical stun rather than cause a fatal stun.
-Bokuho 6P+K, 7P and Bt7P Critical-Bursts low holding opponents in critical stun.
-Mid wake-up kick borrows 10 power from the low wake-up kick.
-Jab, 5PP from BKO, 5P4P, no longer deep stun opponent’s in critical stun or counter hit.
-6P from Bokuho stance no longer deep stuns on counter hit.
-4P deep stuns on normal hit instead of counter hit.

This is the TRUE Evolution of Fighting Entertainment
These aren't necessarily features I would put into the DOA7 "reboot" if I was designing it. But it's a mod, so I don't have absolute creative freedom.
