Since I made this video I already tested it, works really well. Charging just one phone at 5V 2A it barely gets warm, I can hold my finger on the coil and charging chip too!
Plugging in another device, which requires another 5V 1A it is getting too hot for my finger, but still well below the maximum safe temperature of ~65C.
