Hogwarts Legacy + RT Performance on Linux - Ubuntu 24.04
Note that when changing DLSS to any mode, including Quality or Ultra Performance, there is no actual performance improvement during gameplay, only on the menu where it jumps from the average of 60 FPS to 300 FPS in some cases, but the second you start playing the game, it stays around 60 FPS. This also happens when you enable FSR 2.0 or actually any upscale mode, hence why DLSS was not used at all for now. What is seen is the game with Raytracing in Ultra only, without DLSS and without Frame Generation.
With that said, the game did in fact improve 1.5X to 2X over the past year when compared to Ubuntu 23.10 for example, since, when arriving at this same town, the FPS values were around 25 FPS to 30 FPS. Now they are between 50 FPS to 65 FPS.
