Holding Out For A Hero | Crownbound (Fantasy Kingdom Sim - Demo)
50Crownbound is a fantasy settlement builder game where we recruit brave Heroes but they have a mind of their own! So if they don't fancy defending our little town then they just won't...
However, we can incentivise them to help us by putting bounties on things. We can target individual enemies or entire buildings and we promise the destroyer of such a thing a nice amount of gold! Lovely gold.
Whilst we can't control the Heroes, we can control the settlement, choosing to build various buildings to help us survive and increase our defence. The market allows the Heroes to buy helpful items, the tower means we have a permanent guard and there are numerous buildings from which we hire the Heroes.
There are hunters, warriors, rogues, mages and some sort of Dragon-fighter type people, and we can upgrade them too, giving them powerful new abilities to defeat our enemies!
