3. Staggers from enemies also count as a hit including AoE
4. Staggers from your own equipment DON'T count as a hit
5. Environmental damage doesn't count as a hit
6. Self hit or damage doesn't count as a hit
7. Dead enemies that sort of grab or stagger you don't count as a hit
8. Traps count as a hit
9. Any form of defense equipment that is in contact with you counts as a hit.
