Playthrough | Part 12: Weavenests & The Blasted Steps
With the Crest of the Reaper and Thread Storm in our possession, our time in Greymoor comes to a close. Time to Go West, Young Hornet.
First we visit one of many Weavenests with Weavenest Atla. We find a strange mirror named Eva. Eva offers Hornet some needed strength for our journey and the further we go, the more upgrades we get. For starters, the Crest of the Hunter evolves. We get a Vesticrest letting us equip added Tools. We also have a battle against not one but two Moss Mothers. That's a challenge isn't it.
But with them taken care of, we get the Weavelight. This increases Silk regeneration. We then head to Far Fields to find the next Weavenest. Remember the Skull Tyrant? He wants payback. He's sttill a joke if you know what you're doing. Sadly, Bone Bottom gets attacked and it'll take time for the place to recover. At Far Fields, we reach the East end for Weavenest Cindril. We have to rely on a little something in order to proceed forward. We don't find much unfortunately. Eventually we reach the Blasted Steps and let me tell you, you need to make your moves carefully. This is not a joke here. Oh, and we have another boss fight: a pair of Great Conchflies. Focus on one Conchfly at a time. Attack with extreme prejudice. They are big targets after all. But once you take one down, the other will be out for revenge.
Once they are taken care of, we can keep moving forward. It's also here we get our hands one a new ability for our weapon, the Needle Strike. Basically, a charge attack, courtesy from the Pinstress.
Part 13 is where Act 1 will come to a close for Hornet will open the way to the Citadel.
