From a gameplay standpoint, this is a decent Call of Duty clone, in fact this is Call of Duty meets Red Dawn. In fact, the writer of Red Dawn is said to have written the story for this game, but in googling it, he supposedly didn't write a line of the script. He definitely did co-write the Homefront Novel, and is the creator of Red Dawn, which this game is influenced by.


Either way, this is Red Dawn the video game, except instead of the Ruskies coming to take over America it's the Chin...er...North Koreans, because that's believable. Honestly, even in the 2012 remake of the movie, they were afraid to say what country we all know would actually be capable of doing this, and Homefront treads that same line of "What would happen if Chin...er...North Korea took over the US?"


The game itself is decent enough, but the story gets you thinking a little.
