Hey everyone and welcome to this Honeyminer review video. Right off the bat, I want to say that my Honeyminer experience in 2021 (March and April, more precisely) was disastrous. Over a 50-day period, I encountered two major problems with the platfrom which add up to a complete deal-breaker.
While setting up the platfrom is not an issue and how to install Honeyminer is a question of something like 30 seconds - you download the client and install the app in a few clicks, after that is up and running - the performances are a problem. First of all, Honeyminer CPU not active issue was there at the start, but it did normalise itself and the platfrom began using my CPU. However, the infamous Honeyminer GPU not active problem never went away!
I played with Honeyminer setup (shutting down CPU so GPU could start), I reinstalled my video card drivers, and did everything else that was suggested but the platfrom never once recognized the graphic card. But, even with that, the platfrom still mined a few satoshis on a daily basis. However, around day 20, it simply stopped working completely. Yes, my Honeyminer levels kept going up and the app showed its CPU is working, but I didn’t get one satoshi in over 30 days straight. The even more infamous Honeyminer stopped working problem was there for me as well. Worst of all, it was there to stay. Add to that a very steep Honeyminer withdrawal fee and you get a complete disaster all-around.
I don't know how well NiceHash performs, but I'm certain that Honeyminer is not a NiceHash alternative - it shouldn't be an alternative to anything.
