Anto RetroGamer Presents: the infamous Hong Kong '97 Intro Theme (I Love Beijing Tiananmen), for the Super Nintendo. Well, THE theme of Hong Kong '97: it's the only theme you will hear in the game. On a continuous, never ending loop. From when you start up the game, to getting a Game Over, and restart from the beginning. The only way is to literally turn off the game.

This unlicensed game for the Super Nintendo never really took off, despite minimal availability. Then again, the unique story of causing an ethnic genocide, based around the transfer of Hong Kong back to China, is a hard sell for most videogame stores. I couldn't possibly imagine the reason why Nintendo didn't want to endorse this, if they actually knew about this game to begin with.

A few 'highlights' (or lowlights) of this game includes...

Jackie Chan as the 'protagonist' for slaughtering the "fucking ugly reds."
Jackie Chan portrayed as Bruce Lee's brother: 'Chin'.
The ailing Deng Xiaoping declared dead at the time of release.
The 'revived' giant head of Deng Xiaoping as the "ultimate weapon."
An apparent picture of a corpse used in the Game Over screen.
Coca-Cola featured as one of the backdrops because why not.

Don't blame me if this gets stuck in your head...
