Honkai: Star Rail rant. Excuse some of the sighs and laughs in this video, it was mostly unscripted, and the sheer absurdity of what's going on with HSR made me chuckle quite a few times.

Anyway, yeah. HSR. This game really REALLY seems to hate its own game design for some reason. As much as I love this game, and as much potential as it has to continue being great, it feels like the devs want to go against everything the game's own design stands for. It started with smaller infractions such as characters just not even caring about enemy weaknesses anymore, and it also shows in how characters function so much outside of their own paths. But now it's entering a much more egregious area with Castorice and other upcoming Amphoreus characters. Why does this game break its own rules so much? I rant about it here.
