I've been playing World of Warcraft since early 2006, so it's been a part of my life for quite a while. I've decided to make an on-and-off Let's Play of the game, doing one zone at a time to experience the lore and the many stories of this huge MMORPG!
The Scarlet Monastery is the great stronghold of the Scarlet Crusade. The Scarlet Crusade was initially formed to combat the Scourge and other undead on the rise throughout Lordaeron, but slowly over time they became more and more zealous and by this point they'll kill anyone who's not in their organisation. Doesn't matter if you're alive or undead, alliance or horde, they'll try to kill you either way.
The Scarlet Monastery is the new version of the Graveyard and the Cathedral fused together. Bloodmage Thalnos has risen again, but now known as Thalnos the Soulrender, raising more undead within the monastery that the Crusaders have to deal with. The Scarlet Crusade has also started to train Monks under the leadership of Brother Korloff, and a new military leader, Commander Durand has also been chosen. Curiously the High Inquisitor, Sally Whitemane, survived her first death by somehow resurrecting herself. She still leads the Crusade and needs to be put down for good!
