HooToo TripMate Nano Bridge Mode Setup and Bandwidth Test - HT-TM02 Tutorial
179In this tutorial video I show you how to setup bridge mode on your HooToo Tripmate Nano. Bridge mode setup on the HooToo Nano is very simple and can be done in less than 5 minutes. I also do a bandwidth comparison so you get an idea of speeds while using the Nano.
What is Bridge Mode on the Hootoo Tripmate Nano:
Bridge Mode on the Hootoo Tripmate Nano allows you to connect your Nano to a Wifi network with an internet connection and have the Tripmate Nano broadcast its own Wi-Fi network that shares the internet connection of the original Wifi network. This is useful for traveling in hotels, cruises, or airports. I have used it in campgrounds, or anywhere else where I want to have my own network to use with a Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire stick.

Follow the steps below to setup Bridge Mode on your Hootoo Tripmate Nano HT-TM02
1. Connect to the WiFi network created by the HooToo Nano
2. Access the admin area of your HooToo Nano (http://10.10.10.254)
3. In the Nano Admin area first navigate to Network - Internet
4. Once in the Internet section, allow the system to scan for Wifi networks. When it has completed this use the dropdown menu to select the network of your choice and enter a password if required.
5. Click save
6. Once the Internet settings have saved, navigate to WiFi & LAN.
7. WiFi & LAN is where you setup the Wifi netowkr that will be broadcasted by the Tripmate Nano. Change the configuration as you would like. I recommend changing the SSID and Password.
8. Click Save
9. Reconnect to the HooToo Tripmate Nano
10. Check your HooToo Tripmate Nano to see if the setup was completed successfully and the Nano is now showing a green light.
