TripMate Nano Access Point Mode Setup and Bandwidth Test - HooToo HT-TM02 Tutorial
87In this tutorial video I show you how to setup access point mode on your HooToo Tripmate Nano. Access Point mode setup on the HooToo Nano is very simple and can be done in less than 5 minutes. I also do a bandwidth comparison so you get an idea of internet speeds while using the Nano.
What is Access Point Mode on the Hootoo Tripmate Nano:
Access Point Mode on the Hootoo Tripmate Nano allows you to connect your Nano to a network with an internet connection via eithernet cable and have the Tripmate Nano broadcast its own Wi-Fi network that shares the internet connection of the original network. This is useful for traveling in hotels, cruises, or airports. I have used it in campgrounds, or anywhere else where I want to have my own network to use with a Google Chromecast or Amazon Fire stick.

Follow the steps below to setup Access Point Mode on your Hootoo Tripmate Nano HT-TM02
1. Switch the button on the HooToo Nano to wired mode
2. Plug an Ethernet cable into the Tripmate Nano and the other side of the cable into the network with the internet connection.
3. Once everything is plugged in access the admin area of your HooToo Nano (http://10.10.10.254)
4. In the Nano Admin area first navigate to Network - Internet
5. Once in the Internet section, make sure to have Wired Connection selected
6. Click save
7. Once the Internet settings have saved, navigate to WiFi & LAN.
8. WiFi & LAN is where you setup the Wifi network that will be broadcasted by the Tripmate Nano. Change the configuration as you would like. I recommend changing the SSID and Password.
9. Click Save
10. Reconnect to the HooToo Tripmate Nano
11. Check your HooToo Tripmate Nano to see if the setup was completed successfully and the Nano is now showing a green light.
