1The Clawstrider is a common but dangerous enemy type in Horizon Forbidden West. Defeating it will require the player to bring along the proper elemental counter. Like all the other machines in the game, each enemy has its own set of strengths and weaknesses. In the case of the Clawstrider, it's an agile machine that's covered in razor-sharp blades. They are capable of killing off Aloy with just a few melee attacks. They can also spawn in small groups, making it difficult to defeat multiple at once. Regardless, like every other machine in the game, the Clawstrider can be defeated if the player is properly prepared.
