Horizon Forbidden West is just 3 weeks away from releasing on the PS5 after a near 5 year wait. We have now seen plenty of gameplay and its something. Horizon Zero Dawn was an impressive genre swap from developer Guerilla Games. Their first jump into the open world action RPG space became one of Sony's biggest new first party IP. While they nailed most things players need in an open world space, there was plenty of room for improvement. Horizon Forbidden West looks to eradicate some of these issues such as Melee combat, More compelling open world exploration, better side quest narratives and climbing ability. While Horizon doesn't need to follow in Breath of the Wilds footsteps the Paraglider seems to be a game changer for combat, and of course... the grappling hook. first seen in Halo infinite this year and it surely wont be the last time we see one. Horizon Forbidden West Launches on PS5 and PS4 on February 18th.
